She began her career in chemistry before establishing herself internationally in the creative industries. A deep interest in stories of hope, equity, and systemic change ultimately led her back to science—this time with a focus on climate solutions.
Today, Nadia fuses analytical rigor with visionary thinking to champion inclusive, community-driven climate innovation. Her mission is to help shape a more sustainable and just future—one where technology and equity move forward together.
Svenja is a Techno-economist using data and markets to scale carbon removals. She is an indigenous rights advocate financing carbon projects that are transparent, fair and equitable. Primarily, she is working across UNFCCC/technology transfer mechanisms/NDC/project finance/VCM methodology development.
Nicholas is a climate investor & entrepreneur who has been involved in the development of the DAC sector since 2006 as a Senior Advisor to Global Thermostat. He has founded, funded, and served on the board of multiple prominent efforts to accelerate climate mobilization, including the American Council on Renewable Energy, the Clean Economy Network, the CREO Family Office Syndicate, the Carbon XPRIZE, and the Circular Carbon Network. He is a graduate of Harvard College & Harvard Law School.
Dr. Ronald Chance is a senior scientist with extensive experience in carbon-related technologies. After retiring from ExxonMobil, he became a Senior Science Advisor at Global Thermostat, focusing on carbon capture and utilization. Dr. Chance also serves on university advisory boards, including the chemical engineering department at the University of Southern California. He holds an Adjunct Professor position at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he contributes to academia and industry.
